About Sport Design Sweden (SDS)

Since 2007, Sport Design Sweden has grown into an international company with offices across Sweden and the United States, headquartered in Stockholm. We create bespoke, high-end merchandise and private-label apparel for sports clubs, ski resorts and brands in nearly 30 countries, including clubs in the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, NHL and SHL. By combining fashion with fanwear, we create products that people genuinely want to wear, use and remember - always with a strong focus on quality, design and the identity of the brands we work with.

As we continue to grow internationally, we are on a journey to digitalize our operations and make our processes smarter, faster and more scalable. We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who is excited about using technology and automation to drive that change.

The role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting and developing our logistics operations, with a particular focus on inventory visibility, outbound shipping, automated workflows, carrier relationships and warehouse partnerships.

The role combines analytical thinking with hands-on operational work and process improvement. A key part of the position is to identify inefficiencies, improve workflows and ensure that our sales team and other internal stakeholders always have accurate and up-to-date logistics information.

The Logistics Specialist will work closely with internal teams, warehouse partners, carriers and other external partners to help create a reliable, cost-efficient and scalable logistics operation.

The role is based at our Stockholm office and reports to our Head of Supply Chain Operations in Denver, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory, Tracking & Outbound Shipping

  • Manage last-mile shipping operations to European customers, coordinating with warehouse teams to maintain consistent and timely fulfilment
  • Oversee automated inventory and shipment tracking processes to ensure data accuracy and availability across all markets
  • Partner closely with the sales team to provide the real-time visibility needed to manage customer expectations
  • Monitor shipments and proactively identify delays, deviations and other operational issues
  • Ensure that relevant logistics information is accurate, accessible and clearly communicated

Workflow Automation & Improvement

  • Manage and continuously improve automated logistics workflows
  • Monitor workflow performance, identify failure points and implement improvements to keep operations running smoothly at scale
  • Identify manual and repetitive processes that can be simplified or automated
  • Explore how technology, automation and AI can be used to improve efficiency, data quality and decision-making
  • Challenge existing ways of working and contribute to the development of more scalable logistics processes

Carrier & Warehouse Partner Development

  • Design and implement logistics processes for new carrier relationships with the goal of increasing efficiency and reducing shipping costs
  • Research and identify new warehouse partners, with particular emphasis on data integration capabilities and process alignment
  • Evaluate service agreements, integration requirements and performance benchmarks for logistics partners
  • Support the development of a logistics network that can scale with Sport Design Sweden's continued international growth
  • Work closely with external partners to improve service levels, processes and operational efficiency

Pain Point Identification & Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and recurring issues within the logistics process
  • Develop and implement practical and scalable solutions that reduce friction across internal teams, carriers and warehouse partners
  • Take ownership of operational issues and drive them through to resolution
  • Use data to understand root causes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Help turn recurring operational problems into structured, long-term solutions

Requirements & Profile

We are looking for someone structured, analytical and proactive — comfortable in a fast-moving international environment where priorities shift and problem-solving is a core part of the job.

You are curious about how things can be done better. You enjoy improving processes, testing new tools and finding smarter ways of working. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable with technology and interested in how automation, digital tools and AI can be used to reduce manual work and improve logistics operations.

You have:

  • A bachelor degree or higher in a relevant/related field
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or a similar operational role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and operational systems
  • A genuine interest in technology, automation, and digital tools. You don’t need to be a developer but you should be comfortable with how data flows through systems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to manage several parallel tasks and take ownership from problem to solution
  • Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience with ERP, WMS or TMS platforms, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Have worked with automated workflows, system integrations or AI productivity tools
  • Have experience using AI tools or other digital productivity tools to improve processes and ways of working
  • Have experience working with third-party warehouses, carrier procurement or freight agreements and fulfilment partners
  • Are proficient in Swedish

Above all, we are looking for someone who combines operational reliability with curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset - someone who asks not only “How do we solve this?” but also “How can we make sure we never have to solve this manually again?”
