Sacramento Republic FC, founded in 2012, has been competing in the United Soccer League (USL) since 2014 and were crowned champions in their first year in the league.
Since their introduction to the USL, SRFC has had one of the highest home game attendance figures in the league, with an average of over 11,000 fans attending every home game.
